Within the Framework of the Decree N° 782/01 of the General Direction of Food Health and Safety of the Buenos Aires Government http://www.buenosaires.gov.ar http://ar.vlex.com/vid/decreto-n-32317597) about “Food Handling- Manufacturing Best Practices”, which is aimed to the hotels and restaurants Human Resources, establishes that it is obligatory for the companies that develop activities in the area of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to train the personnel that are involved in the food handling through courses given by public and/or private organizations.

Hotel Training and Staffing, by the Lic. Gabriela Rentería (http://www.htstraining.com/about_us_renteriacv.php ) who has been officially certified by the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in the Registry N° 01-176 of the General Direction of Food Health and Safety 2009, offers those In Company courses.

It has been signed a Cooperation Agreement between HTS and Hilton Hotel Buenos Aires for the Professional Development of its members through the Training Department which is in charge of Karina Lormant.

HTS has signed a Collaboration Agreement in Training and Development with the Women’s Chamber from the North Region of Buenos Aires Province through which it is assisted the transference of knowledge to the members of it in the hotelery, gastronomy, Kitchen and Spa areas, as well as in consultancy.

Since some months, HTS, as a consultancy in SPA Management, has been advising at the pre-opening of the SPA Nahuen at the Atlantic Coast. Our beautician Yolanda Burghi has trained the group of therapists and receptionists, who will be part of the staff, in new techniques and exclusive treatments.

In 2008 HTS began with the In Company Training courses, this time at the Argentine Patagonia, where our facilitator Laura Gigena and our Director Lic. Gabriela Rentería give four intensive courses.

As it had been announced at Hotelga ’07, it was carried out a draw of a course at the attendee’s choice among the people that had visited our Stand. The winner was Beatríz Frieikia, Head Housekeeper of the NH Crillón Hotel, Buenos Aires.
