Introduction to the Wine Knowledge

Nowadays, it has been experienced a change of habits, where clients have decreased the consumption of table wine in order to replace it by a fine wine.

The amount, variety or cultivation of vine that exists around the world is huge; it is talked about thousands of different units, being all of them commercial, but it must be taken into account that only few of them are able to produce high quality wines.

The transformation of the grape to wine is a moment that makes the passion and knowledge of their creators unique. The technology and care allow obtaining wines with unique characteristics that show all the cares rendered to the vines from the beginning.

It is over-talked and written about the combination of food and wines. But, if there is not a bottle of a good wine on the table, it is not a good one.

Aims:

• To distinguish the different varieties of grapes or vines
• To understand the wine process
• To classify the wines according to different points of view
• To discover the pairing art
• To carry out a correct wine service
